Miri Stone

Miri Stone is a dynamic Pacific North West filmmaker originally from New Zealand. Her first feature BUNYIP - a low budget adventure suspense film with rock climbing stunts directed and produced in partnership with the Australian filmmaker Denby Weller - premiered in Australia, 2015. She has been sought after as a screenwriter and her work is being optioned to an acclaimed emerging Australian producer.  After emigrating to Seattle in 2012, she teamed up with a talented cast and crew to shoot her latest short film, THE HUNTER, which premiered in LA and featured in Dragon Con 2016.  She has spent the past four years working in the Seattle Independent Film Industry learning from inspiring local filmmakers such as Megan Griffiths, Lacey Leavitt, Mischa Jakupcak and Lynn Shelton who have become cherished friends as well as supportive mentors.
